Having entered the sector with a petrol station in 1968 as a collective company, Akgüller Flour & Feed expanded its services with the opening of its second facility in 1993. In 1980, Akgüller Flour & Feed decided to produce flour in order to meet the increasing demands of the market and changed its title as a Joint Stock Company in flour production, which it started with stone mill.
Both to improve its technology and to increase capacity, Akgüller Flour & Feed put the state-of-the-art plant into operation on a closed area of 1,025 squaremeters situated on an area of 9,637 squaremeters, which has been used for production since 1997. The plant is currently active and it has a crushing capacity of 8 tons/hour with 10 rolls. A quality control laboratory was also established at the same time with the state-of-the-art plant. The quality control procedures of the wheat purchased and flour produced are carried out in this factory periodically, which enables product stability.
White bread flour (type 1 – type 2 – type 3 – type 4) as well as all sorts of flour for baklava, pastry, etc. can be produced in our factory. The products are sold in packages of 50 kg, 25 kg, 10 kg and 5 kg. Today, Akgüller Flour & Feed has become an acclaimed and preferred brand in the Aegean Region.
Akgüller Flour & Feed accelerated its growth with the decision to establish a feed factory. The most recent establishment of the company, the feed factory started production in September 2003 with its closed area of 640 squaremeters on a total area of 4,316 squaremeters. The developments in the feed industry were closely monitored both in the installation and assembly stages of the factory and state-of-the-art equipment was selected to be used. The production capacity is 20 tons/hour. PLC (programmable logic control) system is preferred in production management. All stages of production are monitored from the tiny diagram on the computer.
Akgüller Flour & Feed factory and the quality control laboratory, which was put into operation simultaneously, are equipped with automatic devices that are able to carry out analysis procedures which are necessary for the feed industry. All physical and chemical nutrient analysis required for feed and raw materials are meticulously performed in our laboratory. In line with these data, maximum attention is paid to the quality of raw materials to be purchased and the feed to be produced. In addition, in accordance with the requests of our customers, the raw materials they have at home which they use with the plant feed can also be analysed.
